Tutto comincia negli anni ’70; suo padre, orafo dai 16 anni, è stato la sua fonte principale di ispirazione e ha svolto un ruolo fondamentale nello sviluppo artistico di Christian Zane. Sin da piccolo, Christian ha appreso i segreti dell’oreficeria; è nato e cresciuto attorniato dai gioielli.
Ogni giorno dopo la scuola, visitava l’atelier del padre, dove assorbiva con interesse e curiosità tutte le complessità legate alla creazione dei gioielli: i colori, le trame, le tecniche, persino i profumi di tutti i materiali. È qui che è si è sviluppato il suo amore per quest’arte.

Nel 2017, dopo anni di studi approfonditi nel campo della gioielleria, ha fondato la sua omonima etichetta di gioielli di moda, Christian Zane Jewelry, in Italia; più precisamente a Milano. Ed è proprio qui, nello splendido capoluogo lombardo, che ogni gioiello firmato Christian Zane viene pensato e realizzato a mano.

It all begins in the 70s; his father, a goldsmith since a very young age, was his main source of inspiration and played a fundamental role in the artistic development of Christian Zane. From an early age, Christian learned the secrets of goldsmithing; he was born and raised surrounded by jewels.
Every day after school, he would visit his father’s atelier, where he absorbed with interest and curiosity all the complexities related to the creation of the jewels: the colors, the textures, the techniques, even the scents of all the materials. This is where his love for this art developed.

In 2017, after years of in-depth studies in the field of jewelry, he founded his namesake fashion jewelry brand, Christian Zane Jewelry, in Italy; more precisely in Milan. And it is right here, in the splendid Lombard capital, that every piece of jewelry signed by Christian Zane is thought and handmade.

Per rendere uniche le sue creazioni donandogli il tocco distintivo, il designer utilizza cristalli vintage – ma non ancora rovinati dal tempo – pressati a mano provenienti da piccole boutique, oltre a pietre semi-preziose più contemporanee e cristalli Swarovski. Ogni pezzo è il risultato finale di un processo completamente fatto a mano e di una ricerca approfondita sia nelle forme che nei materiali.

The Christian Zane brand goes beyond the basic concept of jewelry in itself; it reflects Christian’s vision of art and life. What makes his creations unique, the distinctive touch, is that the designer uses vintage crystals – yet untouched by time – painstakingly from small boutiques, as well as contemporary semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals.
