Hotel Saint-Paul Rive-Gauche : bienvenue dans le Quartier Latin!

Durante la Paris Fashion Week dello scorso febbraio, sono volata nella Ville Lumière per partecipare a varie presentazioni e sfilate tenutesi durante una delle manifestazioni più glamour e attese dell’anno.
Per poter facilmente raggiungere le varie location e nello stesso tempo immergermi nell’autentica atmosfera parigina, ho scelto di soggiornare presso l’Hotel Saint-Paul Rive-Gauche, un boutique-hotel **** nel Quartiere Latino, a pochi passi dalla Senna e dalle principali attrazioni, vicino alle numerose boutique e caffetterie collocate lungo il Boulevard Saint Germain.

During the Paris Fashion Week of last February, I flew into the Ville Lumière to participate in various presentations and fashion shows held during one of the most glamorous and awaited events of the year.

In order to easily reach the various venues and at the same time immerse myself in the authentic Parisian atmosphere, I chose to stay at the Hotel Saint-Paul Rive-Gauche, a **** boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter, a few steps from the Seine and from the main attractions, close to the many boutiques and cafes located along the Boulevard Saint Germain.

L’hotel è situato in prossimità della fermata Odéon del métro (direttamente collegata a Montparnasse e Chatelet), tra la Sorbona e i Giardini del Lussemburgo, sulla linea dell’ex muro esterno di Parigi costruito sotto la reggenza di Filippo Augusto.

Si tratta di una residenza risalente al XVII secolo che inizialmente ospitava i monaci francescani, sotto il nome di Gran Convento dei Cordeliers. Precedentemente chiamato “Hotel du Reservoir“, il suo autentico pozzo che attualmente si trova nella sala della colazione fungeva da riserva d’acqua per tutto il quartiere.

The hotel is located near the metro station Odéon (directly connected to Montparnasse and Chatelet), between the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg Gardens, on the line of the former outer wall of Paris built under the rule of Philip Augustus.

It is a residence dating back to the seventeenth century that initially housed the Franciscan monks, under the name of Gran Convento dei Cordeliers. Formerly called “Hotel du Reservoir”, its authentic well that is currently in the breakfast room served as a water reserve for the whole neighborhood.

Completamente rinnovato nel 2015, questo delizioso albergo ha 31 camere tipicamente parisien, tutte super colorate che variano dallo stile moderno con vivaci tessuti a fiori a quello più tradizionale con travi a vista ed eleganti tende.

La nostra camera très chic con travi in legno sul soffitto, carta da parati floreale e tipico balconcino francese affacciava sull’affascinante Rue Monsieur le Prince.

Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo potuto gustare ogni mattina una gustosa colazione a buffet servita nella seicentesca cantina con soffitti a volta e rilassarci nella saletta comune provvista di un grazioso camino aperto.

Completely renovated in 2015, this delightful hotel has 31 typically parisien rooms, all super colored, ranging from modern style with bright flowered fabrics to more traditional one with exposed beams and elegant curtains.

Our très chic room with wooden beams on the ceiling, floral wallpaper and a typical French balcony overlooked the charming Rue Monsieur le Prince.

During our stay, we were able to enjoy every morning a tasty buffet breakfast served in the seventeenth-century cellar with vaulted ceilings and relax in the common room equipped with a lovely open fireplace.

Inoltre, cosa davvero utile per i visitatori, nella camera era presente uno smartphone Dringme a disposizione degli ospiti da poter portare in giro e usarlo come proprio.

Gentilezza, cordialità e ospitalità sono i punti forti di questo incantevole hotel.

Also, something really useful for visitors, in the room there was a Dringme smartphone available for guests to carry it around and use it as their own.

Kindness, cordiality and hospitality are the strong points of this charming hotel.
