Huawei : a Twilight experience in Ibiza

Oggi vi racconto di lei, Ibiza: la Isla Blanca.
Ma lo farò in un modo particolare, ve la mostrerò attraverso l’obiettivo del mio nuovo Huawei P20 Twilight.

Io che ho sempre pensato che quest’angolo di paradiso fosse soltanto una meta per chi è alla ricerca della movida notturna, mi sono dovuta decisamente ricredere.
Grazie al team Huawei ho scoperto che Ibiza è altro, Ibiza è un’isola selvaggia che si lascia domare solo in parte, è un insieme di stradine immerse nella campagna, Ibiza (o meglio Eivissa) è fatta di scogliere, cale, grotte ed un mare cristallino che lascia senza fiato.

Today I will talk about her, Ibiza: la Isla Blanca.
But I will do it in a particular way, I will show it to you through the lens of my new Huawei P20 Twilight.

I’ve always thought that this corner of paradise was just a destination for those in search of nightlife, I had to change my mind.
Thanks to the Huawei team I discovered that Ibiza is something else, Ibiza is a wild island that can only be partly tamed, it is a set of streets immersed in the countryside, Ibiza (or rather Eivissa) is made of cliffs, coves, caves and a crystal clear sea that leaves you breathless.

Lontani dal frastuono e dal caos del paese principale, abbiamo alloggiato in un hotel da sogno, il 7 Pines Resort Ibiza nella località di Sant Josep de sa Talaia.
La mia suite faceva parte della zona di casette con piscina privata, situata al pian terreno, con la veranda che dava direttamente sulla piscina.
L’intero resort è davvero un paradiso e offre a tutti i suoi ospiti la possibilità di usufruire di una infinity pool che affaccia sul mare.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the main village, we stayed in a dream hotel, the 7 Pines Resort Ibiza in Sant Josep de sa Talaia.
My suite was part of the area of cottages with private pool, located on the ground floor, with the veranda overlooking the pool.
The whole resort is truly a paradise and offers all its guests the opportunity to enjoy an infinity pool overlooking the sea.

 

Arrivati nel pomeriggio del 25 luglio, dopo il check in ed una breve sistemazione, ci siamo recati presso il Pershing Yacht Terrace, il primo cocktail bar al mondo ad essere stato disegnato dal team della famosa casa di produzione di barche con lo scopo di emulare le forme di un tipico yacht firmato Pershing.
Qui c’è stata la prima presentazione ufficiale della nuova colorazione del Huawei P20 creata ispirandosi all’Aurora Boreale: Twilight, crepuscolo, e cioè quel particolare momento della giornata (all’alba e al tramonto) durante il quale la notte lascia spazio ai raggi del sole e viceversa; in questi attimi brevi ma intensi, il cielo si dipinge dei colori più belli, dal rosso, al giallo, all’arancione, intrecciandosi al viola, al blu, al verde del mare su cui si riflette il sole.
I toni di questa nuova colorazione sono un continuum, non si interrompono bruscamente ma seguono la naturale gradazione dell’aurora boreale.

Vari membri del team ci hanno illustrato questo “gioiellino”, spiegandoci le varie potenzialità del telefono, in particolar modo della doppia fotocamera intelligente Leica in grado di catturare perfettamente i colori in tutte le loro tonalità e sfumature.

 

Arrived in the afternoon of July 25th, after the check-in and a brief arrangement, we went to the Pershing Yacht Terrace, the first cocktail bar in the world to be designed by the team of the famous boat production company in order to emulate the shapes of a typical Pershing yacht.
Here was the first official presentation of the new color of Huawei P20 created takinh inspiration by the Aurora Borealis: Twilight, i.e. that particular moments of the day (sunrise and sunset) during which the night leaves space to the rays of the sun and vice versa; in these short but intense moments, the sky is painted with the most beautiful colors, from red, to yellow, to orange, intertwining with purple, blue, and the green of the sea on which the sun is reflected.
The tones of this new coloring are a continuum, they do not stop abruptly but follow the natural gradation of the northern lights.

Several members of the team have shown us this “little gem”, explaining the various potential of the phone, especially the Leica Dual Camera with A.I. that can capture colors in all their shades.

Finita la presentazione, ci siamo diretti in un locale arroccato sul mare per l’aperitivo/cena, Hostel La Torre Restaurant, il posto perfetto per mettere alla prova la fotocamera del P20 proprio all’ora del tramonto.
Che dite? La prova è stata superata?
La serata si è conclusa in bellezza tra pietanze tipiche spagnole e fotografie al paesaggio.

After the presentation, we headed to a restaurant perched on the sea for an aperitif / dinner, Hostel La Torre Restaurant, the perfect place to test the P20 camera at sunset.

Il mattino successivo la sveglia è suonata presto e dopo un’abbondante colazione sulla terrazza del ristorante del resort, abbiamo affrontato una Colour & Photography masterclass durante la quale gli esperti ci hanno dato ulteriori dritte e consigli per catturare al meglio ogni momento con il nostro P20.

The next morning the alarm clock sounded early and after a hearty breakfast on the terrace of the resort restaurant, we faced a Color & Photography masterclass during which the experts gave us further tips and advice to better capture every moment with our Huawei P20 .

Finita questa lezione di fotografia, ci siamo diretti verso il porto di Ibiza e siamo salpati su un veliero meraviglioso alla volta di Formentera.
Dopo una piacevolissima traversata allietata da un gustoso aperitivo, ci siamo fermati nei pressi della punta estrema della piccola isola di Formentera per ammirare gli splendidi colori di questo lembo di mare dai colori twilight, scattare foto sfruttando le potenzialità della fotocamera del P20 e tuffarci in queste splendide acque calde e cristalline. 
Risaliti a bordo, abbiamo pranzato e siamo ripartiti per tornare sulla terra ferma.

After this lesson in photography, we headed to the harbor of Ibiza and we set sail on a wonderful vessel to Formentera.
After a pleasant crossing enlivened by a tasty aperitif, we stopped near the extreme tip of the small island of Formentera to admire the beautiful colors of this strip of sea with twilight colors, take pictures using the potential of the P20 camera and dive into these beautiful warm and crystalline waters.
Back on board, we had lunch and we left to go back to the mainland.

Dopo essere tornati in hotel, una doccia ristoratrice ha lasciato il posto ad una nuova lezione, il Twilight glitter workshop nella Spa del 7 Pines dove abbiamo avuto modo di divertirci con glitter e brillantini da applicare su viso e corpo per dare sfogo alla nostra creatività e per mettere in pratica i consigli dati dagli esperti sul selfie perfetto; sfruttando le angolazioni migliori e la luce proveniente dalle vetrate della Spa, abbiamo provato la fotocamera interna del P20 in una gara a chi scattava il selfie più bello e soprattutto “no filter”.

After returning to the hotel, a refreshing shower has given way to a new lesson, the Twilight glitter workshop in the 7 Pines Spa where we had fun with glitters to apply on our face and body to give vent to our creativity and to put into practice the advice given by experts about the perfect selfie; taking advantage of the best angles and the light coming from the windows of the Spa, we tried the internal camera of the Huawei P20 in a race for those who took the most beautiful selfie and above all “no filter”.

Ancora una piccola pausa relax e via, direzione Destino Pacha, per la nostra serata “Twilight Beach Club Party”.
Nel privée del locale, col team Huawei al completo, abbiamo gustato l’aperitivo prima e la cena poi, a suon di musica elettronica.

Still a little break and relax and then go, to the Destino Pacha, for our evening “Twilight Beach Club Party”.
In the privée of the club, with all members of Huawei team, we enjoyed the aperitif first and then dinner, with electronic music.

Purtroppo la serata si conclude e con lei anche questa stupenda esperienza nella Isla Blanca.
Ma mi aspetta ancora un’ultima notte nella mia bellissima suite per riposarmi e affrontare al meglio il viaggio di ritorno verso l’Italia.

Questa Twilight Experience con Huawei finisce qui ma i ricordi rimarranno per sempre grazie alle numerose foto scattate con il mio nuovo Huawei P20.

Unfortunately, the evening ends and with it also this wonderful experience in the Isla Blanca.
But one more night awaits me in my beautiful suite to rest and face the return journey to Italy.
