BROOKLYN: THE SOUL OF NYC

Per la felicità di molte di voi, ecco un nuovo articolo dedicato alla Grande Mela!

Oggi vi porto con me a visitare Brooklyn.
Volgerete il vostro sguardo verso lo skyline di Manhattan illuminato 
dai due fasci di luce blu che squarciano il cielo nell’anniversario dell’11 settembre; 
camminerete nell’affascinante quartiere di Brooklyn Heights caratteristico 
per i suoi famosi edifici in brownstones e per la promenade
 con vista sulla città e sull’Hudson River; 
vi prenderete una pausa a Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) 
camminando sotto il Manhattan Bridge, alzerete gli occhi al cielo 
per ammirare il ponte che unisce l’isola alla terra ferma
 e vi sentirete un po’ come in Gossip Girl, 
sognando di vivere anche voi lì, come Dan; 
vi inoltrerete nel cuore del distretto per ammirare i fantastici murales
 di Bushwick e respirare quell’ atmosfera black tipica di questa zona; 
infine, ritornerete nella caotica Manhattan, 
attraversando a piedi il Brooklyn Bridge.

Today I’ll take you with me to visit Brooklyn.

You’ll look back to Manhattan skyline illuminated by two blue light beams 
that pierce the sky on the anniversary of September 11th;
you’ll walk in the charming neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, 
characteristic for its famous Brownstones Rowhouses 
and for the promenade overlooking the city and the Hudson River;
you will take a break in Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass)
 walking under the Manhattan Bridge, you will raise your eyes
 to admire the bridge that connects the island to the mainland, 
and you will feel as Dan in Gossip Girl, 
dreaming of living there;
you will penetrate into the heart of the district to admire 
the wonderful murals of Bushwick and breathe 
the black atmosphere typical of this area;
finally, you will come back to the chaotic Manhattan, 
walking across the Brooklyn Bridge.

New York… una magnifica giungla in cui perdersi col naso all’insù…
In un mese, di foto ne abbiamo fatte tantissime ma ovviamente non potrò metterle tutte.
Ho cercato, quindi, di raggruppare quelle più significative e per rimanere in tema fashion, non mancheranno i miei numerosi outfit!
Non è stato facile ma ce l’ho fatta 😀

Iniziamo questa serie di articoli dedicati al mio viaggio con due zone della città opposte tra loro, una rappresenta il caos e la vita frenetica (Times Square) e l’altra rappresenta la parte divertente e spensierata dove si rifugia il newyorkese medio nelle calde giornate estive (Coney Island).

New York … a beautiful jungle to get lost with your nose up…
In a month we have made lots of pictures but of course I can not upload all of them.
I tried, therefore, to select the most significant ones and to stay on fashion, do not miss my many outfits! 😀

We begin this series of articles about my trip with two areas of the city opposed to each other; one represents the chaos and busy life (Times Square) and the other one symbolizes the fun and carefree part of the average New Yorkers where they take refuge on hot summer days (Coney Island).

Mi rilasso ascoltando il rumore delle onde infrangersi sugli scogli…
Il mio sguardo si perde nei colori intensi di un caldo tramonto di metà agosto…

UNIVERSITY OF FOLLOW US

Un divanetto, un tavolino, dei fiori e qualche candela per rendere più romantica 

l’atmosfera ed ecco che un semplice terrazzo si trasforma 
in un piccolo angolo di relax, il mio mondo privato in cui mi rifugio 
durante queste calde giornate estive; perfetto per studiare, 
fare ginnastica, lavorare al pc, sonnecchiare e perchè no.. 
anche scattare qualche foto.
Ed è proprio sullo sfondo di questo set fotografico che vi mostro 
il mio nuovo mini dress del brand FOLLOW US inviatomi dall’agenzia MmConsulting; la parte di sopra 
è in bianco cotone felpato, con una stampa sul davanti e la gonna 
è in nylon verde brillante.
Adatto per outfit casual in abbinamento ad un paio di sandali 
ma anche per quelli un po’ meno impegnativi, magari con un paio di sneakers.
Io me ne sono innamorata e lo sto usando tantissimo!

A sofa, a coffee table, flowers and some candles to make the atmosphere
 more romantic and here a simple terrace turns into a small 
corner of relax, my private world where I take refuge during 
these hot summer days; perfect for studying, exercising, working on my laptop, 
snoozing and why not .. even take some pictures.

Here I show my new mini dress FOLLOW US; its upper part is made 
of white fleece cotton with a print on the front 
and the skirt is in bright green nylon.
Suitable for casual outfits in combination with a pair of sandals, 
but also for those a little less demanding, perhaps with a pair of sneakers.

I felt in love with it and I’m using it a lot!

Una nuova settimana è cominciata e con essa anche il mese di agosto, l’ultimo di questa estate che non ha ancora preso il via… 
Sarà che sono già proiettata a settembre e al mio viaggio a stelle e strisce in quel di NYC ma non riesco a calarmi al 100% nella summer 2016. 🙁
Oggi voglio presentarvi un po’ di cosine davvero deliziose che mi sono state inviate da un’agenzia di blogger con cui collaboro: la NO WORDS.

Nella grande scatola che ho ricevuto ho trovato:

A TOUCH OF SPRING

Buonasera mie care! 
Una nuova settimana ha inizio e l’estate si avvicina sempre più. 
Menomale, perchè non vedo l’ora di andare al mare nonostante non abbia ancora il coraggio di affrontare la fatidica prova costume ma per quella c’è ancora un po’ di tempo.. 😀

Nel frattempo, in attesa che scoppi il caldo, inizio già a fare posto 
ad un abbigliamento un po’ più leggero 
e vi presento alcune new entry targate NEWCHIC.
Per chi non lo conoscesse, NewChic è un sito low cost 
dove si possono trovare tante cosine carine a prezzi super bassi.
La prima cosa che vi mostro è un maxi dress rosa cipria fiorito, 
il tessuto non è affatto male e la cosa carina è la particolarità 
della chiusura con nastro sul retro del collo; 
unica pecca, come spesso capita con i vestiti cinesi,
 è l’eccessiva trasparenza.
Il secondo capo è un mini dress total black con maniche a 3/4 molto leggero
 e quindi perfetto per una serata di fine primavera/inizio estate.
Terza cosa, una maglia nera di cotone con maniche lunghe bianche e ricamate, 
caratterizzata da una apertura sul retro molto particolare. 
E’ sicuramente la cosa che mi è piaciuta di più e ho deciso 
di abbinarla ad uno shorts nero di pizzo che richiami le maniche.

Thank goodness, because I cannot wait to go 
to sea despite not having the courage to face the test swimsuit, 
but for that there is still a bit of time… 😀

Meanwhile, waiting for the warm, I’ve already started to make room 
for lighter clothes and I show you some new entries NEWCHIC.

For those who don’t know, NewChic is a low cost web site

The first item I show it is a powder pink flowery maxi dress, 
the fabric is not bad at all and the nice thing is the closure
 on the back of your neck; the negative side is the excessive transparency 
as often happens with Chinese clothes.

The second item is a total black mini dress with 3/4 sleeves
 and because of its lightness, it’s perfect for a spring night out.

Third, a black cotton t-shirt with white lace long sleeves, 
characterized by a really nice opening on the back. 
It ‘s definitely the thing I liked most and I decided to combine it
 with a black lace pair of shorts.

Scusate se nell’ultima quindicina di giorni non sono stata molto presente ma purtroppo sono stata male a causa di una brutta intossicazione alimentare 🙁

Jimmy Crystal è stata fondata nel 1991 e ha la sua sede principale a New York City ma distribuisce le sue creazioni in molte parti del mondo tra cui Canada, Germania, Dubai e anche nella nostra penisola; l’azienda offre una vasta gamma di accessori tra cui occhiali, gioielli, borse, orologi, decorazioni per la casa e tanto altro. 
La cosa particolare e super wow è che i loro prodotti sono impreziositi da stupendi swarovski!
Io ho scelto un paio di occhiali viola con lenti dello stesso colore; il modello è il GL1201 Purple: forma tondeggiante, leggero e colorato, giovane e trendy, con montatura venata lucida nera e viola, lenti specchiate viola, decoro frontale realizzato in cristalli Swarovski originali color viola scuro.

A couple of weeks ago, I had showed a pair of glasses that I had received by Firmoo; today, however, I show you another fantastic model by JIMMY CRYSTAL.

50 SHADES OF GREY AND YELLOW BY ZAFUL

Buonasera tesorine mie!!
Divano, ghiaccio sul ginocchio, un po’ di musica made in Italy targata Sanremo e il mio inseparabile pc.
E posso finalmente annunciarvi che…. sono ufficialmente entrata a far parte della grande famiglia di Youtube!! Il mio primo video è online e se non lo avete ancora visto, vi lascio 
 Mi raccomando, iscrivetevi!!
Oggi vi presento due outfit diversi nella forma ma uguali nella sostanza; infatti, in entrambi sono presenti due capi del brand ZAFUL.
Zaful è un nuovo sito low cost che ho scoperto da poco; mi purtroppo non ne sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta. 
Ho ricevuto un crop top grigio e un vestitino giallo acceso; appena li ho visti, mi sono subito piaciuti un sacco ma purtroppo la maglia, al contatto con la pelle, pizzica troppo e il vestitino è trasparente.. che tristezza! Mi piacevano tanto! 🙁
Comunque, vi consiglio di fare un giro sul loro sito; magari voi sarete più fortunate! 🙂

Today I show you two outfits different in the shape but similar in the substance; in fact, in both there are two items of ZAFUL.

Zaful is a new low cost website I discovered recently; unfortunately, I have not been fully satisfied.
I received a gray crop top and a yellow dress; when I saw them, I immediately liked them a lot but unfortunately the sweater itches a bit, and the dress is transparent .. how sad! 
I liked them so much! 🙁
